Cellar Beast's 2022 Merlot comes from the world-renowned Meek Vineyard in Yakima Valley, WA, and is a masterful combination of elegance and accessibility. This is a dark fruit, earthy wine with intense aromas and a creamy smooth palate balanced by soft tannins and an acidic crunch. Fourteen months in neutral French oak gives it complexity and structure while keeping its fruit-forward appeal. Crafted from grapes planted 600 feet above sea level on a sunny, balmy, and cooler climate, this Merlot expresses Yakima Valley, Washington’s microclimate.
